Originally called Cliff Corner, Cliff House is a large detached property. The original building was the home of Thomas Trollope and his wife, Frances, the sister of Ellen Ternan (renowned mistress of Charles Dickens).
More recently the house has been home to the 1960s film star, the late Belinda Lee.
Cliff House offers two comfortable self-contained holiday flats.
Cliff House is a two minute walk from the beach, the coastal path and the main shopping area of Budleigh Salterton where there are pubs, cafes and restaurants although Cliff Terrace stays suprisingly peaceful for its convenient location.
Guests enjoy shared use of the garden at the house and our family beach hut.
